Got a new bed today. Genuinely looking forward to sleeping on it. Did lots of research to choose it.
However, I am trying to stay up as late as I can to see how this election unfolds…

Well, Lackawanna county in PA, a bit of a white working class bellwether, is not good for Harris. Looks more like 16 than 20.
Yeah, looking at how the counts are shaping up, it feels like Harris will win the popular vote and lose the electoral college. PA, MI, and WI are all very tight, seems unlikely she will win out in all 3.
I’m waiting, hoping, for Harris to move into the lead after the initial red mirage. But it isn’t coming as quickly as I had hoped. This is tighter than a duck’s arse.
I will be gutted if Trump wins. Surely not. Surely not.
Come on America!
I’m with Magnus. Very scared.
The avenues for Harris are dwindling.
Jesus.
A fascist senile old man not able to put a logical sentence together is about to win the election. Let that sink in.
Bizarre.
i can only assume what we see in our parts of the world is not the full story…
by all accounts the man is detestable…
shes making up ground now…
my ticker has it at 179-214
That matters not. West coast numbers are coming in which we already know are Dems. Its the lead for Trump in those swing states that is the only thing that matters and they aren’t looking good.
More and more frightening this. So many Americans have voted for Trump; beyond insane…
WI less than PA. In Wisconsin, only half of Milwaukee votes have been counted, and Harris is winning about 66% there. Columbia (north of Madison) is also heavily Democrat, barely in at all at 14%. I expect Harris to pick up the 40k or so votes she needs to win WI.
Pennsylvania is tough though. Harris needs to make up about 175k. There are still some very strong Democratic counties with lots of votes to come, but that is a big number and as @Limiescouse noted, Scranton is suggesting a bit of softening in a place that is very similar to a place like Allentown. Looking at the fairly high percentage of votes in from the rural counties, PA will end up being tight. But 175k is just a big gap to close…and lots of potential for dispute.
Right now, she needs both of those.
ah Ok i thought the west coast was yet to come, which is why i presumed it was still very very close…im paying fractionally more attention now than earlier…
aussie betting sites skewed big time now, markets to big to be weighted i think
So depressive. Even if Harris wins, it’s going to then be very fucking narrow. So sad.
The biggest mockery if Trump wins is he is going to sack the prosecutor for his charges and that the DOJ will not prosecute a sitting president and the President of the supposedly the world’s greatest country will be a convicted criminal and is not in jail simply because of the immunity that comes as the President. What a joke.
Doesn’t look good for Kamala.
Arizona is incredibly tight. Less than 2.5k votes apart with half counted
If US votes trump in again after the car crash that was the last Trump term.
It’s absolutely stupid. Not learning after the mistakes of the past means they are doomed.
It’s all a mockery.
An attempt to summarize all the disqualifying events would make you look like a lunatic. But just reflect that our election has been subjected to 60 bomb threats, targeted at dem strongholds, identified as being from an adversarial foreign power that the candidate and chief ball, licker have both, illegally, been in communication with and it’s barely a story
Been critical of Harris’ campaign, focusing her messaging on Republicans. Win or lose I don’t think this strategy has been right.
I wish the Democrats were not terrified to appeal to their own base. They place so much more value on Republicans.
I also think its incredulous that Trump is even in this position. But thats what we see from the outside. If he wins, he wins in a democratic election with millions and millions voting for him. Its obvious then for these millions, there are certain issues they prioritize over others. But we cannot call them wrong, they just have a very different priority of the America they want. Crazy. I am just glad I am not there,
