Biden finally just calling out that Trump is straight up lying. About time, he hasnāt said a single honest thing since taking the stage.

Itās really insane heās getting away with this.
Four years ago Julian Castro neutered Beto in one of the Dem debates over a s8ngle argument. It was over some nuanced Texas related border policy disagreement that no one knew the details of, but Castro was forceful and assertive, and Betoās campaign was over immediately with Castro celebrating on stage over Betoās decapitated body. Thing is, Castro was 100% factually wrong and Beto was right.
Debates are dumb. Itās always all just preening. Normally itās dumb but this time with the age of both of them the theatre matters. Biden is failing

I have a heavy heart watching this.
If, when I vote, the choice is Biden v Trump, then I will vote Biden all day long, as long as he has a pulse. Trump must simply be stopped, for the good of the country.

Watching this, Biden is so clearly past it that I suspect things will move in the direction of Trump in the polls, probably decisively.
The Dems will need to come together to enact some difficult business, if the timing is still possible, and put another nominee up to take Trump down.
I think I need to pour another drink soon. This is bad. The old man Biden, who yelled at Trump at the last debate, WILL YOU SHUT UP, is gone. That remnant of fire, which galvanized a base, has been extinguished, or all but.
The Dems will probably sleepwalk to defeat, or they might pivot and try something else.
My conclusion is the latter. Pivot.

Honestly, just let Trump talk. I think most people can see through him, the more he speaks the obvious his lies are.

I read a summary of a focus group last week of undecided voters. 60% plus believed all the bad things about a trump, yet he had an advantage of 10 points or so on issues of protecting democracy and national security. People are ducking morons
