That press was terrible. We were always a man short so always leaving the man being closed down an easy pass to a totally open player. Yet we still went for it and, quite understandably, got mugged off.

This is the exact argument I have with my 6-a-side team every week.

You do it there because if you win the ball back you are only 1 pass from creating a good chance. It doesnt matter where you do it if you dont have the players lined up to do it
