Though he was poor last night, you simply can not stand still and look how your opponent takes a shot in the box. He was understandably not like he was before Prickford took him out this season but to me, he was getting better every match he played and then he got fucking COVID.

Pre-injury he would have slid in and blocked that shot, not shown the attacker where to shoot. It was an odd thing to do in that situation. I also can’t remember the last time he won a header at a corner. He’s lost a lot of the spring in his heels from what I’ve seen this season.

He was a bit lucky with that tackle on Insigne.
That night was a really close one also with the save right at the end.
You just know… when we just about qualify in the last group game after complicating our lives in previous games, we are on our way of winning the CL.

Before his injury I bet he looked at big to any attacker. I remember some games strikers just moved to the other side as not to go up against him. Great video.

Best CB I’ve seen play for us in my life time…

I’d agree. I’ve been watching liverpool play since the late 90’s. He easily is the best CB for us from what i’ve seen
