VVD has the highest mins among our outfield players. Iâm a bit surprised that Klopp used him so extensively given the horrendous injury he suffered last season and the depth we have this season. Anyway, stay strong big guy. 
He is simply the best at organising that highline.
VVD has played 50 games, 4530 mins, so far this season. I really, really, hope that he isnât played so much next season.
With the way he plays and how little he needs to extend himself that is like 3000 regular person minutes.

Wow, he has already played 59 games (club & country) so far this season. 
The problem is not with Van Gaal, but the entire system. For a player as influential as Van Dijk, as long as he isnt injured, it would be negligent to not bring him into the camp.
