Also only a matter of time before the climbdown. Iran had announced their new regulatory structure for the Straits, which was a humiliation for the US. At the same time, we now know that the Saudis were not interested in allowing the US to run their escort program from Saudi bases - I wonder what the status of their bases are for these strikes?
But of course, stocks will move downward, oil price will bounce back up. Iran just has to wait it out for a week or so while pressure builds.

Yes, of course. It will only be a short campaign. If there will be a campaign. But it’s unclear who dropped these bombs, it could be the heralded retaliation of the UAE as an example.
Actually, it may just be the US striking back at small boats after Iran have launched shots. I don’t know.

What is Iran’s beef with the UAE? I mean, I know they hate everyone, including most of their own population, but they seem to have a special antagonism towards UAE?
Maybe they are impatient waiting for City’s 115 charges to be resolved.

I just want to note that several accounts that tracks flights, have noticed a massive number of tanker and logistic flights today. Usually that indicates that someone at least wants to be prepared to drop a lot of munitions relatively fast.
