It’s the heralded response to Hezollah joining the war, as explained above. Likely, the israeli will go back to its 1978 buffer zone (Litani River), unless a deal is reached with the Lebanese government (and yes, then it will be occupation obviously). None of this is unexpected, and I have posted much about it above (it’s just that everything is happening at once). Which is why Lebanon now is in panic and clamping down on Hezbollah and negotiating with Israel in the background. Hezbollah members are being arrested by the Lebanese government.
The Israeli invasion began 2 days ago, so it’s no longer news. If you scroll through my posts, where I have usually posted a key-word “related” and answered my own posts, you will see the development.
As I said a few days ago, this is a catastrophe for Lebanon. If there is one country in the region that did not need this, it is Lebanon.
Point is, the entire Axis of Resistance is being utterly destroyed now if/when they choose to join the war. The Houthies have wisely so far stayed out.
Obviously, the civilian suffering will be incredibly high, as you see from some posts. Lebanese families with Hezbollah ties are being arrested by Syrian security forces across the border, and not treated well (they have big, big, big big beef).
Edit: When I write about Hezbollah’s suicide note in various posts above and link them to events, one should not just assume I use big words. I rarely exaggerate on purpose when it comes to such serious matters. I overdramatised maybe the Orban thing because I was shocked after just having seen it the minute before, but usually, I never exaggerate knowingly.

Because case in point, Hezbollah has no deterrance so joining the war when they know it results in Israeli invasion is suicidal for its survival, since ordinary Lebanese now truly fucking hate them. They show that their loyalty is to Iran, not to Lebanon.
Dahyeh is supposed to be evacuated now, soon the destruction of an entire city district the size of a small city, will begin. This is such a disaster for Lebanon. Cannot be overstated.

If anyone is wondering why I am not posting Hezbollah accounts (I have posted their statements above anyway), it is because they are literally useless for information now when it is Götterdämmerung. All they harp about is destroying the odd Israeli tank in triumpalistic words and successfully targeting the Zionist Entity in retaliation of Shahed Sayed Khamenei bla blah, which hardly matters and is not very interesting to people not on their kool-aid bandwagon.

I want to note that the US Armed Forces are making a huge propaganda push, in all channels (seriously they are spamming this), that a jet have not been shot down over Iraq. However, the fact is that a jet did crash (chich they do not clarify). It’s like Russians spinning this.
