Normal procedure has resumed

Goes without saying really that the entire Iranian navy will be destroyed.

Not sure if this has been posted previously…
I guess Baron will not be drafted? (Draft excluder :rofl:/evader, like his papa?)

BARTIROMO: Trump had an interesting exchange about troops on the ground. Moms are worried we’re gonna have a draft and see their kids get involved in this. What do you want to say about the president’s plan for troops on the ground?

Worth noting, I think, that many journalists are reporting this in a very cynical, almost clickbaity fashion that could make some readers think that this is something they are thinking about.

Propaganda Barbie always says this (that he is oh so wise and do not remove anything from the table). He isn’t going to institute a draft against Iran.

Anyway, 82nd Airborne Division now on high altert, getting ready for insertion, if Spray-Tan Caligula gives the go. And I think he will.
Airbornes, Marines, Green Berets etc. But not a draft. He doesn’t want a big war, he wanted Venzuela after all and is still in denial that his cunning plan did not work out.

How many is that likely to be compared to the likely number of Iranian troops?

Muslims have no religious obligations to fast during war or crisis, so I am ignoring the emotional stuff to say the least, since fasting is a choice (irresponsible ) then and not something that is expected, when “doing grueling and risky work”.

But still, they are having losses and the reason I am posting this is that they are not overjoyed to have these losses.

How do those interception rates compare with Ukraine?

Few. Some tens of thousands.

But they and not planning to invade the country like some think. They are planning more limited insertions and incursions, to go after objectives that they don’t have the power to assure can be destroyed from the air.

Maybe they will also support “rebels”, if those rebels appears. Possible they could also be used as police force and back up Iranian faction/s if the state collapsed etc.

Of course, there is a slim chance I am wrong. But it is very slim.

Here’s UAE Al Habtoor Group Founding Chairman Khalifa Ahmad Al Habtoor’s open letter addressing Lindsey Graham’s call for Gulf States to join the war on Iran:

It’s higher. But it’s not comparable.
UAE use everything, absolutely everything and do not husband resoureces and are not really bombed.

Those numbers of projectiles thrown at them are miniscule compared to one of the weekly Russian strikes. And it is around the same as the Russian daily strikes.

But I would have to hunt for specifict numbers. But the point is, UAE has not endured daily barrages over 4 years and has all its infrastructure 100 percent operational. Ukraine is full of duct-tape.

@RedWhippet Here you go. Fresh numbers

This war is still a picknic with your family at a nice lake compared to the Big War (because people are surely aware that over 1000 people die daily in the Russo-Ukrainian war, I hope)
It’s just that it has massive economical consequences and appears larger because of media coverage.

Interception there uses a different scale. I assume it is inteceptor usage (tbh not sure).

I sent vitaly a message, asking him to explain the other scale.

I read this elsewhere from one of my sources, explained in a different manner, but cannot find it now. I didn’t re-tweet at the time. So hard for me to find atm. Google gives results, but those are mostly old and outdated.

In any case, as you can see, these numbers are significantly higher than what Iran is launching per day. No comparison at all.

It is, and will remain, in Europe we have the Industrial War, unless something very strange happens in the Middle East. But not many people are interested in our war, it is how the media works.

France intends to aid in unblocking the artery, which the Strait of Hormuz is.

Addendum to previous posts regarding dragging in unwilling parties and so on.

His only humanitarian decsions ever, if so.

For political propaganda reasons obviously. But even so, many of them probably do need asylum, that is no joke.

Of course, he has no right to pressure Australia, but that is how that mad man is, we know that.

Doesn’t surprise me that they believed another Venezuelan situation it was one of my expectations I didn’t think they’d put it out there.

I find it “dying of laughter worthy”, because everyone with some knowledge has known about Iran’s reaction since I was a young college kid.

Anyway, I haven’t been exaggerating when I have kept calling this Plan 9 From Outer Space. Ignoring legality, It’s knee-jerk and terrible. To launch an unecessary war of choice, knee-jerk, against such a big oil producer located at the Straitz of Hormuz, with all the vulnerable oil and gas producing Gulf States around it and who have US bases in Gulf States in sight, is really fucking something.
