Mearsheimers absurd argument is that everything Russia does is self defence, Ritter spreads genocidal propanga, chem labs, nazi take over, all of it. They are associated with

Mearsheimer has been wrong about everything, including claiming that it was ludicrous to think that Russia would invade Ukraine. His friends, the Sputnik crew, are more vulgar and even more stupid of course. Mearsheimer understands nothing about Russian culture, and completely ignores internal Russian factors in his thinking, which is why he can explain nothing.

In any case, Iran probably want to avoid the scenes in Australia, where the women panicked, cried and tried to flee instead of boarding the plane. That was heartbreaking. Nothing good will happen to them when they get back to Iran after their demonstration of disloyalty to the Islamic Republic.
I think some on this forum have some real illusions about the repressive regime of the Islamic Republic tbh, but not my job to dispel those.
