At the risk of very jaded , I do think this is the end plan. Everything from Trump Peace Plan to the Abraham Accords to this plan smacks of this. The visit by Modi to Jerusalem just before the attacks began is very telling too. This cuts off Chinese land routes via Iran to ME and from there to Europe. If Pakistan attacks Iran, This cuts off the CPEC project which is under development too as China is not going to take Pakistan betraying Iran very lightly.
While Iran does have Oil which is a huge consideration, These wars seem to be leading more into a fight for viable trade routes to counter China’s BRI plan.
Just the chronology of events leading upto this. With a small localised conflict of Israel Vs Gaza extending to uprooting Assad in Syria, Hezbollah in Lebanon and finally Iran being the end game.
