Shame if he misses the WC. Hope he gets there. But that Sunderland game might end up being the last time we saw him in a Liverpool shirt, unless he takes part in some friendlies next summer.

  • Season over: Endo has all but ruled himself out of Liverpool’s remaining fixtures following surgery on his left foot in February.
  • Recovery milestone: He has only just been cleared to walk unaided this week and is currently restricted to light gym work.
