Seriously I’m not too worried about his technique and stamina, it’s standout character for most of Japanese players. He is fighter as well. Maybe this time we got real samurai. Don’t worry about his age, 30 is just 18 for Asian.

This is probably not a bad signing at all,Schmadke will surely know something of him, his stats aren’t too bad,although from a struggling team.Seems he can play the positions we need covered,his age indicates he is hardly expected to be a long term signing.
But it relieves the pressure for a panic buy and takes the pressure off Bajetic.
The comparisons to Ragnar Klavan make sense, too.
As long as Chelsea don’t front up with a 60m or so counter offer, he ain’t worth that!

Great. Not seen him play as I don’t watch Bundes Liga. But these are the kind of players the Sporting Director will have to sign rather than the obvious Caicedo’s. Unless there is a reasonable release clause no point. I am very confident as he is from BundesLiga in which our Sporting Director is an expert on.

Apart from his age his stats look good. Happy with move. Just that we should have done this earlier during Preseason and he should have started the game against Chelsea. I still think it’s 2 points dropped.

We will not pretend that there is no difference between Endo and say Lavia or Caicedo. Obviously in terms of age and probably skillsets, the latter 2 might have shown more especially Caicedo. But we have always signed players on their profile. The leadership, the work ethics, the hard work, the team first, these are some of the things that you might not be able to train but as far as skillsets are concerned, as Klopp has shown us, in the right team and the right tactics and balance, even “normal” players can become world class in Liverpool. If this goes through, I hope again that he will turn out to be another ‘underwhelming’ signing who will exceed all expectations.

He ´s been called “Legendo” in Stuttgart btw. and their fans are absolutely gutted to lose him from what i`ve read.
When I now read in the media, since the news came out of the blue, that many of our fans now find this signing totally embarrassing and absolutely underwhelming, I don’t even know what to say.
This is not the ENDO of our club as he´s been called now over here ffs

Because the theories will start coming out that this was what FSG could have afforded all along and they bidded for Lavia and Caicedo knowing that they will reject us and use it as a PR exercise to appease the fans and then end up signing this guy because they are skint.
And I read this in Twitter. Klopp has never won a league title without a Japanese in his team !! Our 20th title is coming soon guys!!

When it comes to having a battling midfielder in your squad… It is better to be looking at them, than looking for them.! In todays market, £15m is realistic… it is also a way of thanking Stuttgart for letting us take their best player off their hands, without screwing them to the deck completely… It will also probably cost them that much to replace him…!
Get him in is what I say… apart from the outlay, which is not of such vast amount that it will disrupt any other plans we have, what do we have to lose… Come the end of the season, we might be asking how we have ever managed to win anything in the past without him :0)
If the PL proves to be a step too far for the lad, as long as he gives 200% every time he plays, there will be a lot of fans that will take to him…
