LFCā¦
But that isnāt the point for many, is itā¦
There seems to be many Stuttgart supporters having breakdowns over this. They fucking adore him.
Just sharing my thoughts on this one.
Iām quite excited. Feels like he has attributes weāve been missing in the last 15 months or so. Energy, aggression, wants to win the ball, lots of people saying heās a natural leader which is good cos ours havenāt been leading very well lately.
Not seen him play other than Japan in the WC, but I imagine if weād signed him last summer instead of Melo weād have had a much better season and heād have been better received as a signing too.
I wonder if weāll see him doing Trentās role at any point.
Obviously we all want the best and brightest at the club and ideally lads who have a longer future at the top of the game, but weāve not been good lately at just getting in a capable body where we need it.
We have good relations with Stuttgart, JĆ¼rgen supports them I believe being born there also and we set Nat Phillips there. Also we played them in pre season the other year
From Romano:
Itās understood that Chelsea have successfully had a bid accepted for the plane flying Endo from Germany, which they will now land at Heathrow instead and keep locked up in an abandoned hangar just to fuck with JWH.
Letās stop with this, itās still very sore.
Anyhow seems a decent buy, done this instead of any of the Caciedo business I would have been quite happy.
Not that Iām unhappy now I always thought this kind of signing would be the type we should have looked at.
Just reading their forums now and as you say , they seem to be devastated, losing their captain just before the season starts.
Many of them at the beginning of the thread state that he always stated his desire to play in England is common knowledge.
One year left on a contract and an offer of Ā£19 million, does seem to be a good price.
In case anyone wants to see their thoughts.
Iām not sure how good this lad is but according to most sites the guys up for a fight. Great news in that position. Apparently full of energy which will suit Klopp. I would suggest this sounds like a measure to give a younger player time to come through.
The referees will be getting excitedā¦
Hoping to be the first to book him, for no other reason than he signed for us
Would have been great if we had signed this guy in the beginning of the window and then went to bat for the more high profile buys.
Anyway , as long as he comes and does a klavan type job. Iām up for it.
Just to pick on ā¦
If we would have got this guy on loanā¦
We could have called him Lendoā¦!

I think that us signing a player of his ilk is extremely important for us this season. The reason why I was so underwhelmed by the prospect of Lavia being the Guy for us was that we wouldāve only get similar qualities into the team that we already had. Also, in that case we wouldāve had three new signings with very limited experience of being in a world class team, when we lost so many players that had won it all. Also the physical qualities of running around the pitch like crazy and giving his all to the team tackling his way through the pitch is not something that Lavia would have provided and that wouldāve been severely missed in the coming months.
However I understand that its possible that signing Lavia was not mutually exclusive of us signing him or a similar player.
Stuttgart loves himā¦ very important.
One thing is for sure, signing the captain of Japan will do wonders for our shirt-sale over there
Signing minamino didnāt help the shirt sales
Itās not as if we are signing someone like Son.
