Sadly we used to wait for the offal.
That is sad. Oh well.
Standards slipping form my day.
Tap in merchant Ornstein..
I had noticed he had been quiet.
to be fair, he was the first to break the news an hour or so ago.
Don’t care in my day you’d wait for John Moores to have his morning breakfast clean his moustache and get down to Anfield for 10:30am
Anyhow welcome Iraola don’t be a Rodgers.
Fucking Rick Parry would be on holiday, though.
On opening the thread now I maybe did go a little early @mattyhurst, but it honestly does sound like it’s done, and the club will spend the next few days trying to sort out the coaches from Bournemouth.
And who has time for that?

I was joking, I wanted to make a comment about Carragher wanting Alonso which all years ago didn’t he want Barry instead?
I remember him and Stevie wanted Alan Curbishley instead when the club went for Rafa lol

Just watching the redmenTV deep dive on Iraola, some fantastic and intelligent quotes from him!
Ive got a good feeling about this, and Im usually errant to caution.
‘Iraola’, it just has that class, some ring to it, just the word, the sort of word you indispensably need for becoming a legend. Also, from his photos, he looks a winner, bright, charismatic, dynamic, our sort of manager entirely. Bet we still have loads of Spain flags knocking about.
I just hope that the supporters don’t completely expect Iraola doing the Kloppo’s Gegenpressing /heavy metal style. The PR push of the heavy metal football may be problematic. Let him be his own man and method of play, as long as it’s forward focus and attacking football.
Ok, so is it;
I-rah-ola
I-ray-ola
I-ruh-ola
Or something else?
