Welcome to Liverpool, Andoni Iraola!

The real one :see_no_evil_monkey:

Absolutely love this. I really hope all the fringe players can have an injury free pre-season, give them a chance to show Iraola what they can do.

Harvey Elliott must be beyond delighted with this. Maybe a last roll of the dice for him and a few others.

A Chance for Faramir, Captain of Gondor, to Show his Quality..

I don’t know about the chasing him for 10 years but I certainly think he has been in the thoughts of Hughes and Edwards since they returned to the club.

I know he’s our new Dad and everything, but he will win us over and we will learn to love him. We have to give him a chance.

I like him.

Not totally sure on his style (although he may adapt) or whether he can perform at a club like Liverpool and the different demands, but he seems a smart guy and he did a great job last season at Bournemouth.

Maybe my bias for Spain but I“m cautiously excited to see what he does.

I looooooove he said manager, not head coach.

Just watched the full 10min interview on the offal.

Really impressed with the things he said, particularly around the youth players, understanding the scale of the club, the fans, and the desire to belong/be accepted by us through showing/earning it. Talk of playing style, aggression, passion…perfect.

I’m excited about him taking over, but we will need to be patient!

Peter McDowell also referred to him as manager during the interview on the offal
