I’ve noticed sometimes he waxes them sometimes he doesn’t.
Just a random observation.
Helps him run that touch faster. Every efficiency available. He even said in his first interview his speed wasnt the best

He said he’s quite fast, but maybe not the fastest compared now to the fastest players at Liverpool.
He’s not as rapid as say Salah / Diaz / Gomez. But very few are.
