What's happening? (Part 2)

There’s a reason they called it New South Wales. And you’re living in it…

Just spent 3 weeks in dear old blighty meeting my 8 month old grandson for the first time

It has been a special few weeks and some of my best moments in life.

More than a few tears shed when saying goodbye to him and my daughter.

Got the opposite problem here, with lots of flooding in Indiana. My wife’s aunt was evacuated from her home and her car is mostly underwater

Yeah english one came about 2 minutes later , so the Government wants to give us welsh an advantage.

Wildfire alert. As someone who works for the Fire Service I’ll say this politely - Stop lighting fires you cunts. Its 9 billion degrees, you don’t need a barbecue or to set your grass trimmings on fire because you can’t be arsed to go to the tip and you most certainly dont need to use a blow torch to get rid of your fucking weeds. Pricks!

It was possibly the worst effort I’ve heard in some time.

But basically fire risk.

Nearly fell out of bed with the alert that came through about wildfires and what not. Was taking a nap because it’s too damn hot to do anything else.

I remember during Covid, I was sitting outside my quarantine portakabin soaking up the sun, probably mid 30’s.
Could hear the locals whinging coz they were bored.
I said, people from my country save up all year to sit and do fuck all in the sun

Lovely!!

Is that an examination table made to look like a scanner?

We had to put my youngest into an MRI when he was about the same age because of his CPAM. You cannot move, of course, but he wasn’t asleep, so they use this pillow thingy that wraps around them and holds them still.

He screamed like a banshee. Not the most enjoyable experience, but no permanent damage, I think!!

I hope you see alot more of your grandson over time. They grow up so quickly.

That wildfire alert nearly gave a heart attack on the train. Everyone’s phone went off!
