Agree. I think i read its something like 87% of marriages end after someone cheats

Staying together even after the partner cheats for the sake of the kids etc won’t be a long time solution either. Ends up making both the people miserable in the marriage.

Stick with mate. Those cravings will soon pass and you’ll feel better for not giving in. I found it was usually after eating was worst, because I’d always have had a smoke after a meal.

Just remember why you’re doing it :+1:

it takes 21 days to break a habit so they say…

I quit smoking years ago with the help of nicotine patches and running!

you on the patches?

Nah. Have gone cold turkey. Never bought into vaping as an alternative as inhaling oils aint smart - even i know that.

Patches never really made sense to me as it is still nicotine just a different defivery method but still run by big tobacco.

you dont get cravings on the patches though,
and you reduce the strength every 2 week until you get to the point you dont need them

nightmare trying to sleep when wearing them though

Good lad. It’s the best way. Just stop poisoning yourself.

one of the best ways to stop yourself dying from lung cancer is to binge drink more and die from liver cancer instead.

I quit drinking about 10 years ago, so I guess my only option is to stuff my face with shite food and die of a heart attack

Ok, so due to my broken arm I haven’t been able to cut my toenails so I’m now getting a pedicure for the first time in my life.
I’m sure most people on here are regular visitors to the nail salon, but it’s a novel experience for me. I’m not sure I like it to be honest.

Never had a pedicure, but have had that Asian fish cleaner shit once in Thailand. Once you get over the tickling feeling it is actually pretty good.

Took a fairly hard football shot straight on my left ear last Wednesday. After what I can only describe as turmoil in the inner left ear and super sound sensitivity and high pitch ringing, it started to settle over the long weekend.
What followed however was telltale signs of a concussion…severe headache and a real drowsiness even after a full nights sleep. S basically silent most of the long weekend recuperating.
Made it to work barely today and did regret not taking a sick day. But thankfully it hurts less each day. And hearing is going back to normal.

Take care… Concussion is horrible, I got it from the knee of a striker who crashed into me as i went for the ball on the floor.

He broke his leg later that game, so I missed a week of the season, he missed the season and I didn’t hex him.
