What's happening? (Part 2)

The reason my friend is desperate to have her immediate family at her daughter’s wedding is that, she lost her only son suddenly at the age of 23 of heart attack. He was healthy boy. She only has one child left.

I am also hearing news now, fans from Scotland being denied entry at US immigration.

Donald Trump is not very popular in Scotland, largely due to his behaviour and business interests there. I suspect that many Scottish fans have said some rather disparaging things about the Orang Bawbag on social media.

Land of the free… the deplorables living up to their name.

Yep.
While pedophilia and human trafficking is ignored/covered up, people are punished for internet insults.
Thankfully nothing like that happens in the UK

Is this normal???

I’ve just been to have my FSME booster vaccination, and realised that it’s the first injection I’ve had this year. My WHO vaccine book still resembles a Panini sticker album, but it seems odd for me to have gone that long without being jagged.

Your post made me google two things RW:
1, I didn’t know about that vaccine.
2, Is ‘jagged’ a Scots version of ‘jabbed’?

Sorry, yes. Vaccinations are commonly known as jags.

It’s also the nickname of Partick Thistle football club, presumably because it protects against infection from the Old Firm.

Much as I am frustrated with people, occasionally you meet people who are interesting, it is a treasure though usually short lived. A deeper look usually reveals some unfavourable beauty spots but as long as you spot them early enough you don’t get too disappointed and move on.

Very interesting. I’ve learnt something for the day and its only 9:45am. Time to start the weekend early?!

Continuing the discussion from What's happening? (Part 1):

It’s finally found its way onto their Spotify page. Just listening to it now.

0330 this morning woke up with severe chest pains, spreading to both shoulders and jaw.
Being a bit concerned I set off for A&E.

Filled with dread and anticipating hours in the waiting room, pleasantly surprised to be checked out straight away, full MOT.

Had to wait a couple of hours for blood results but in and out in under 3 hours, and not a single bed in the corridor.

Must be an Engerlund problem.

Diagnosis, severe esophagus spasm, identical pain to a heart attack or angina attack.
Feet up now

If you go in with those symptoms then triage will raise the alarm immediately. Good to hear you are OK.
