What's happening?

Lol good to hear, I’m not a scouser per se, just an honourary one, with my love for Liverpool

Dad was a scouser and took me to matches from the age of 8/9…

You lucky bugger, I live in NZ now and I have mates that are Kiwis and are Liverpool bonkers.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where live, once you become a Liverpool fan, it is in your blood.

My teacher colleague is a kiwi and a lifelong Liverpool fan from the age of 5. His best school mate was from Liverpool who moved to Auckland in late 1960s.

True, a lifelong red, stays forever. My Auntie is a Scouser by marriage, my uncle and Auntie’s family were always coming up to London and Wembley for matches and stayed with us. Uncle bought me the shirt, scarf and hat. That was it, no going back. I always loved the vibrant red colour. I remember they all used to argue on the football. :joy:
As child, i was surrounded by Scousers. My Dad was not good at DIY around the house and they all used to sort all stuff for mum when they stayed with us. They loved my mum’s Tandoori chicken. It was fun in those days, so many good memories.

Not far off the truth.
Places like Norway and Canada still function with feet of snow, our pathetic nation grinds to a halt if 2 inches of snow appear

We have just had the three wise men around (kids from the local church) so that’s our house blessed for another year.

A very belated reply and update.
I have decided that I’ll use my phone to communicate. I don’t like it but Can not sit long enough to use my computer at my desk.
I had an RMI which showed that I had suffered a compression fracture (L5 for those who know) which explains why I could not move. So complete arthritis on the right side and partial on the left.
I’m progressing very slowly due to past health issues (15 years with lyme disease, big smoker, diabetic and vegan for part of m’y life being major contributions imo).
Sitting is a major problem, l’m learning to cope however not being the brightest spark it’s taking far too long.
Despite not following my prefered forums I have watched all ‘our’ matches and have been very impressed with our play and form. Gravenberch has been great unfortunately I feel hé is starting to look tired and Slot needs to manage him.
This post is getting long so I’ll leave it there. I will get into arguments on other threads. :grinning:

Welcome back mate, and great to hear you are progressing on the health path even if it is slower than you would like. Any improvement is better than no improvement.

I completely agree with this.
It’s been up and down for a long time. The last 2 weeks I have managed to do much more after a period of frustration. So things are looking brighter.
