Ended up an extra hr delay on top. Only just boarded for my 8am flight 
Have a great trip and watch out for assholes on e-scooters
(Unless you are an asshole on a scooter, in which case, watch out for elderly ladies)

Mrs’ carotid artery they did operation on last October is almost completely blocked again. Fucking frustrating, doctors can’t believe it either. Because of her circumstances, that operation was much more complicated and dangerous than usual, hope they somehow find a way around it to have to do it all over again, we’ll have to see what the big boss surgeon says next week.

The flight was ok, I don’t like flying however this was a reasonably good experience. Marseille to Stansted with Ryanair not recommending Ryanair as I have had varying experiences with them.
Hire company upgraded my car VW Golf hybrid which I struggled with.
Got stuck at Reading due to a lorry on fire. Stuck for hours. Had to take awful roads to bypass it having some very hairy moments. Arrived at my holiday chalet at midnight.
Holiday chalet is pleasant and comfortable.
Very wet and a bit cold here in sunny 
south Devon. No need for my sunglasses. Horrible drizzle that’s really irritating starts stops making it impossible to know what to wear.
Zoo visit today and family gathering this weekend. Wish I’d booked a few more days.
Hoping the motorways stay open on Tuesday.

I drove over to Paris recently..nightmare motorways from Liverpool to south coast ferry. No issues at all on the Autoroutes plus toll booths are no more
