Where was the Quanz?
Not sure if the Quanz actually playedâŠ
Nah he will still be on leave due to the U21s tournament.
Thankfully in a way. He wonât at least be the scapegoat here.
Going to watch the new Superman film with my lad soon. Mrs ROTW out of town with work, and weâre trying to squeeze a few things in before he heads off to college out of state in a couple of weeks. Flix Brewhouse - itâs how all cinemas should be, for me. Nice comfortable chair, little slide table in front of you, they brew good beer on site and bring it to you, along with any food you might order, as the film unfolds.
Tell us how woke the film is.
Is there an underlying concern for racial injustice in these movies?
The IPA beer was very good. The pizza wasnât bad. The film had a couple of moments, but generally didnât engage me. I appreciate Iâm an outlier these days, but I need a human story and a connection, and the more it delves into CGI the more it loses me.
Iâm clearly not the demographic though! My lad thought it was brilliant.
I didnât see anything woke or anything like that. I donât know what the fuss is from elements of the right wing. If they saw anything in that to cause offense, all sense of perspective has gone. Take a look at your leader! Pah.
Missed my flight back home. Stuck at Stansted. Got a room at Premier Inn.
Grandson was very upset until he realised an adventure was beginning. Tomorrow will be difficult with him if we donât get a flight and have to mess around.
2 miles of duty free before the departure gates are indicated then a train to the gate after your cabin baggage gets held up because the operator didnât get a clear image is too much.
No LFC kit at JD Sports, needs reporting as the 1st kit you see is Manure.
Good work Flobs
JD Sports donât seem to stock us at all, Iâve been in about 4 of them during a season and itâs usually Man Utd and Chelsea.
We donât yet have a current shirt though so it would make sense at this moment.
Maybe itâs just teams that compete for the transfer window trophy?
Mind you if we start getting stocked in there after this summer Iâll laugh.
After a string of different diagnostics, atm it looks like they might be able to do a minimal invasive surgery (I think thatâs the correct English term), which would be fantastic.
Commonly known as keyhole surgery, but that is essentially the official name for it.
Justice for Balds.
You will all be pleased to know my son, grandson and I are back safely in our homes.
You probably will not be surprised that the adventure continued for the return. I was exhausted and managed to loose my grandson at Stansted. We got a very stern ticking off from a very angry member of the airport staff. Very stressful.
Luckily on the flight I was in an outside seat so only dribbled on one other passenger whilst I slumbered.
Pleasantly surprised stepping off the plane at Marseille. Nice temperature, no more than 26ÂșC and a nice breeze. Our cars were nice and clean as well due to recent rain.
I have learnt a lot about âmodernâ air travel.
Anyway we had a nice time in cloudy South Devon. Walked a lot and had a family gathering which was really nice and interesting. Unfortunately many of us are going through hard times and putting brave faces on it. I hope things brighten up and we are able to relax in the near future.
Something a little different. Working from home today as the boss is away and there is someone doing some Tai chi kind of thing with what appears to be one of those light sabre toys in the pissing rain
Sounds positive news CologneâŠ.Hope all goes well
Cheers. Operation will be mid August, weâre quite postive, Mrs is in a great mood, just doesnât want to hear about it, which I fully understand.
Could be Flobs. How far are you from France?
