We had an emergency meeting saying, that pupils schools across London are going to fight each other after school.
One half will be Red (attackers) and other half Blue ( defenders) using school equipment like rulers, pencils, compasses and scissors etc.
We found out that our school is the Red one. Today , girls from our school and another school were designated to fight each other after school finishes. It was encouraged by some Tik Toker loony adult. Now the police are involved.
The students were sent home early today for safety reasons. This was highly unsuual. Our head would not make this decision lightly.
I was wondering why i saw alot of police this morning. In area of Hammersmith and Fulham ( London), there are many schools

Instead of the police urging Social Media companies to ban accounts posting this sort of shite, how about the user identy being handed over to police for criminal prosecution?
Yes, these posts do include some encouraging the use of knives, so surely that has to be a crime?

These students are vulnerable and they get influenced and get pressurised by peers.

There was a thing like that between the 2 schools in my town. Mostly after school big fights however could be at lunch time or even the morning. The schools were very close to each other however one took in kids from the estate the other side of town (the school I went to). The other from the nearby estate. So it wasn’t just a school thing it was also demographical.
What happened is the school I went to started earlier, had a very short lunch break and finished early (which I think pissed parents off). Anyway there was very little time for these fights. Noone could be bothered waiting ages for the other schools day to finish so everyone just went home.
I never got involved with the fighting (wasn’t from either estate and wasn’t in the upper years). I do remember the hours changing and having very long evenings.

Bought some cigars for my birthday, early December. Haven’t had a chance to smoke one yet (I’m the word’s worst smoker, a few cigars a year, but it’s a chilled sort of thing, as and when).
Anyway, home early, walked the Jack Russell 5 miles, zany little bugger, now sitting in my back garden. Weather is a pleasant 60F. Poured a little bourbon and lit up one of those stogies. My daughter put me on to Olivia Dean, so she’s playing in the background.
Life. Stress. All the things…
Now melting away and enjoying a chilled late afternoon / early Friday evening here. Mrs ROTW is going out for dinner and margaritas with a couple of her best friends, which I love. So I’m holding the fort here.

I am supposed to be flying on 20th March to Islamabad to attend a wedding (close friend’s son) and to see some of my family in Islamabad and Peshawar (my two aunts), they have health issues).
I saw the news this morning, not sure what to do now.

Looks like I’m doing the Schengen Shuffle for a year or so. I have two periods of three months where I need to be out of the Schengen, before my passport clears.
I’ll spend a little time in Wales with the family, on ma’s sofa, but it’s not healthy for me to be in the UK for longer than a week at a time (I might actually die around day nine).
Looking at a month in Belgrade, a month in Sarajevo and a month in Mostar. Does that seem like a good way to spend three months?
I’m open to other Balkan cities, but these three seem to be the most recommended.
I’d tag the members I assume to be Balkan, but I’m not 100% sure what happens over there and I don’t want it to kick off.
