When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

Meanwhile…… Ronaldo eating alone at United. Shows a massive rift and the moles are still undermining the club (like what I did there?) Add to this the rumours of his contract being terminated. Very interesting situation and absolutely hilarious. ETH walking if they don’t sign players he wants would be like winning the lottery. Bliss.

News in that Ronaldo and Bruno have both been to the management to get them to sign players. Oh you lovely moles

What is their obsession with old strikers?

Manchester United are considering a move for Leicester’s Jamie Vardy, 35, but the Foxes are said to be reluctant to allow the English striker to leave. (Athletic via Daily Star)

Aubameyang linked in a newspaper we don’t mention.

United boss Erik ten Hag is prepared to allow Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, to leave the club. (Times - subscription required)

Manchester United’s offer to buy Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong, 25, from Barcelona has now expired. (Kick-off of De Telegraaf via Mail)

But United are close to signing Brazil forward Matheus Cunha, 23, from Atletico Madrid for £42.5m. (Express)

why would you want people to fast forward for 45 minutes?

Exactly. When they signed Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo, there was no issue with the Glazers and ownership models and all that crap.

I think we should ease up on the piss taking. Utd and Everton could both be above us, this time next week.

All the more reason to get our digs in now

Yeh, because we might all be going to ground, next Tuesday morning.

Speak for yourself. If United beat us next week, I’ll just double my bets with a couple of United-supporting friends who think they’ll finish above us this season.

Form is temporary; class is permanent.

You’ve got Utd supporting friends? That’s just weird.

The most erotic read so far as I can remember …. For the guys, make sure you not in public.

For perspective, Spurs built their new stadium from scratch in a far more expensive location for 1 billion.

Didn’t they move about 12 yards? Wouldn’t say the location became more prestigious.

Interest Payments £743m  :exploding_head:

I really don’t get this. What is the loan amount that requires such high repayments? Who are they (MU) paying, Glazers or some financial institutions? What was the loan for?

Sorry, I meant more expensive than the cost of a similar construction project in Salford.

Purchasing the club. It wasn’t done with their own money. The entire thing was leveraged against the club itself.

As @Limiescouse says they bought the club with its own money. I think they also borrowed more against the club few years later to support their struggling US businesses. Interest rates were relatively high at the time.
