It is so overblown. Coverage was similar here. League leaders on the march, so much to say… but nah, let’s give Amorim more coverage. I was annoyed but then on the other hand, I was satisfied with the three points and more than satisfied with our position, so let them talk about someone else if that’s their story.
Van Nistelrooy did well in his short stint and gets them, and the players played for him. Three wins and a creditable draw. I hope the twinges of regret are already there for the decision makers, and they are wondering what Ruud might have done.
