When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

Mason Greenwood to face trial next November , charged with attempted rape , assault and controlling /coercive behaviour. He remains on bail 'til then (unless he does something really stupid , which I wouldn’t rule out.) He also remains a Utd player until the trial concludes.

Why does it take so long to bring him to trial? He has a lone accuser. Pretty simple case.

He is getting paid until they can prove him guilty or not at his trial

Don’t know but the UK court system does have a large backlog of cases due to significant underfunding by the government over the last decade with i think i read similar cases involving people with a lower profile taking upto 3 years to get their cases heard in court.

If this was a quietly negotiated clean (inasmuch as it would be possible to be clean now) break, I am going to be very disappointed. What has gotten into them at Old Trafford? Sure the soap opera cannot be facing cancellation in the tenth season?

What a shit decision. This should have played out in the courts, bunch of cowards.

“by mutual agreement”

Basically meaning Utd have paid him 25m to fuck off.

So, retire then? If by your own admission you have nothing left to prove then what are you in the game for?

Nothing left to prove is not the same as nothing left to skim.

What he has proved is that at 37 years and 8 months he is a man child. What he has proved is that he did not improve Man Utd, in fact he made them worse.

On the Man Utd end, it is a good move. Ronaldo was toxic for the manager and the squad. As a player he is well past his best, and vastly overpaid in relation to his contribution.

While the soap opera has been funny, I take the whole thing as an unfortunate sign that Man Utd are starting to get on track with a proper football man, and leader, at the helm.

Leaves them a bit short in attack. They’ll surely bring in someone in January.

Could this have gone any worse for them? Remember how giddy they were when he came back… haha.

When you have the money he has would you not be happier retiring and having years to spend with your family?

There’s only 1 place he can go that’ll give him anywhere near what he was on at Utd.
