When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Scamorim! (Part 3)

They are awful. Just properly awful. The number of players they had in position to defend that 4th and they just got cut through with none of them actually wanting to do anything

I don’t see Zirkzee surviving there, not even in one of those #10 spots. Some people have jumped too easily on this ā€œhe’s just misunderstood and different, he’s something between Berbatov and Firminoā€ wagon with him.

They’re lucky the refs have been on their side in Europe, or they would have absolutely nothing left to play for this season. It’s almost as if the edict has come in from UEFA HQ that they’re a big name, so they have to make the final.

Hope Spurs (or Bodo/Glimt) batter them.

League table the day before Amorin took over.

He’s progressed them in the wrong direction.
Hope Taggart is having regular sleepless nights

I haven’t looked at the results from other games today, have I missed something?

I don’t see us in that table…

Helping you see it from a Man Utd perspective… we’re been out of sight all f’n season.

So it’s the highest we ever finished in the league (20th time it had happened) vs the lowest United placed in the league.

Fuck yeah.

Yeah. United were on track to 52 points under ETH.

That would possibly be mid table.

The scum fans are saying they have finished runners-up in the league more times than us, with the same number of winning titles… so that leaves them still on the perch

Likes of what Neville are saying is that they generate more commercial revenue. Hence they are the biggest club in England.

Not quoting Neville verbatim but this is what he said.

Liverpool are the most successful club in England but United are the biggest club.

There last three fixtures are

West Ham
Chelsea
Villa

There is a real chance they could finish 17th. They are only two points off West Ham.

Beautiful words from Amorim regarding if they win the Europa League to secure Champions League football next season.

We are not ready to play in the Premier League, be competitive, and to be in the Champions League," Amorim told Sky Sports when asked about the pressure of being so close to qualification.

"We know that, but we need to win, and we need to fight to win this competition, to give something to our fans, and to go to the Champions League.

ā€œThen we will have time to prepare the team to cope with those two competitions. So, it is a dilemma, but we want to win, of course.ā€

Cheeky bastards. They can take their position in 4th, behind us, Arsenal and Everton.

They can keep their instagram followers. I prefer the extra 3 European Cups.

Sad cunts probably counting Charity/Community Shield runners up too.

There was a time when they dismissed the Uefa Cup as too mickey mouse to count, until they won it with Mourinho and it became a major trophy.

I know their fans are hanging everything on winning the EL to get a back door into the CL next season, but finishing 17th with one of the most expensive squads in world football is an absolute fucking disgrace. And I’m not having the excuse of ā€œAmorim has been focusing on just the EL since they had no chance at a top 5 finishā€ because it’s bollocks. His record in the league has been absolutely shambolic by any measure, the beardy cunt has SIX wins out of 24 league matches. He’s lost 12 of those 24, so a 25% win rate and a 50% loss rate. Several of those draws were jammy as fuck, too, much like they were under ETH.

It’s strikingly obvious how being in Europe, especially the CL next season is actually going to hurt their progress - they won’t have nearly a big enough squad to compete in both comps, but their owners will want them to. All of those extra midweek games means a lot less time for recovery and training Amorim’s system. The money might be enticing, but they need a complete reset from a cultural and footballing perspective, a season with no European comps or expectations to try and make some improvements to the squad and start working out who is going to be there in 26/27 and where their major positions of need are. As it is, they’re going to spend the summer chasing one or two big name strikers who they’ll bring in on massive wages, while similarly trying desperately to unload guys like Sancho, Rashford, Antony, and probably Casemiro. They also need 2 wingbacks and a new GK. They don’t have the luxury of taking a lean squad into next season if they have CL football to contend with. Stupid cunts.
