By losing in the UEFA Cup? It’s a win-win really!

Can you imagine them in the Champions League? :joy: It would be hilarious. It’s almost enough to want them to win the Europa.

Serbian press that I find quite unreliable reported this a few months back, so I dismissed it completely… And I stopped following this chancer a long time a go.

That said, it would be funny if they bought him again for big money ten years after buying him for peanuts. He’s become a solid goalkeeper, though I wouldn’t class him as a top class one. Much more reliable than Onana - then again, Onana was pretty good at Inter.

He didn’t get a work permit.

Aside , I always thought Serbia was a part of the EU. Guess that was wrong.

Happened to us too with one brazillian I think. Allan ?

:police_car_light: 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: Inter sold André Onana for £50M and replaced him with Yann Sommer for £5M.

Is that the best bit of business in recent history?

I never actually saw him play for Inter. Assume it’s better than what he has done in Manchester.

I thought Kepa was a decent keeper back in Spain mind, then again he’s been decent for Bournemouth. Maybe it’s got to do with toxic work places.

And then there’s a repeat.

United sign Sommer for 70m and then turn him into Onana.

That will be difficult- Sommer is actually a pretty good keeper. It will take something special to shake his confidence and decision making to the point he becomes Onana.

They can do things in the transfer market that other clubs can only dream of.

They also currently occupy positions in the PL table that most other clubs can only have nightmares of.
