Pretty damning this - Manchester United: Ten more shocking stats for Ruben Amorim and his team as Premier League struggles continue | Football News | Sky Sports

My fav bit;

Two months without a league win

While United have progressed to the Europa League final, which offers a route back into the Champions League, they have failed to win in the Premier League for the last two months. Their last victory was at Leicester on March 16.

Indeed, if you ignore their matches against the teams already relegated from the Premier League, United have won one of their last 17 Premier League games - with their only calendar-year victory over a team in next season’s Premier League being a 1-0 success over Fulham on January 26.

Literally the first thing I thought as I heard him say that. He wants out at this point and you can see the regret on his face and hear it in his voice.

Somehow or another, a poisonous culture took hold at united during the Fergie years and it’s not being eradicated. You can’t say it’s the players because they’ve turned over the playing staff a few times already since Fergie left. You can’t say it’s the manager because they’re on number 7 (if you include Rangnick) since Fergie left. You can’t really say it’s the owners either - they’ve spunked a load of money on players since Fergie left, and now there’s new owners managing football operations. So what does that leave?

Worst fans in the entire world. Remember when Giggs (I think?) said that there’s no way United would have a fall off like Liverpool did after the 80s? Remember millions of their dickhead fans saying the same thing? This is the difference between us and them. We never let an insidious culture take hold at our club, poisoning the well for every manager and player that came to us. They’re going to remain in the shit for a long time because the culture is rotten all the way through the club. Fuck’m.

You can see what’s coming from a mile off

Qualify for the champions league by winning the Europa. Sign a collection of overpriced, over salaried mercenaries to try and shortcut the gap to the top four. Wheels start coming off in November, and the board rush to sack Amorim. The year turns into 2026 with it apparent that they are going to finish mid table, they have a new collection of unflushable turds, and they are still up to their tits in debt.

Wrong, if he starts next season like this, they need to throw more and more £££ at transfer targets and get him on a lifetime contract. They only way he can improve them is to buy his way up the table.

Isn’t that currently an improvement? Amorim in!!!

I’m very disappointed that the above poll, on the BBC website, does not offer a “Job for life” option.

The latter is pretty much that.

True, but the wording doesn’t quite hit the spot.

Best thing is they don’t have the money or leeway with PSR

BUt the best way to sort that is to spend their way out of PSR trouble

And that my friend as you know is the route of their problem, but don’t tell anyone

No no no! If you are having money troubles. then spending more money is the solution
