Who would you buy?

I’d still be surprised if Real let Tchouameni go this summer, be it on loan or as a quick sale to recoup as much money as possible.

But stranger things have happened, especially at such clubs. Lately, they’ve been sort of switching their midfield structure to more of a double-pivot and pushing Modric higher up. Camavinga’s been performing well, even out of position. His stock has rised.

Still, Tchouameni is the closest they have stylistically to a #6.

Let’s say they’re going for Jude this summer and possibly another important player. Be it a CB or a striker. Maybe their maths command that they offload more than it was expected so far. We’ll see.

No doubt that Tchouameni (if it would be on loan, then naturally you’d want us to at least have an option to buy) and Mac Allister would be a real quality (midfield) window for us, along with a CB of course. Tchouameni could compete in 2 positions and Mac Allister could fill the other one. Perfect.

In that case, we would definitely need to find something for Fabinho.

What a joke. Guess the name is true. Crooks. It’s only money. It’s only 200m. Yea we demand owners to spend money like drinking water and demands that they are pure as snow. Life is easy when you are just demanding and demanding with no sense of reality and practicality.

Hate Garth Crooks but to be honest, if we want to compete for the title, Bellingham and Rice would make the difference. And the club absolutely could sanction their purchase for 200m.

No denials to Rice and Bellingham being potential world beaters. But woe to football and running a club responsibly, if these 2 players are the only way for us to win anything. We could, that does not mean we should and I am in fully support if our club walks away from spending 130mil on one player. Klopp has said it recently, any players they would buy are players whom he believed are good enough and there is a world of players outside of these 2 equally good if not even better.

Rice and Bellingham would cost more than 200 million.

So…now that the Saints are officially relegated…any players from their squad that’s help us? Lavia? Livramento?

I wonder what our stats people think about Lavia and Bella-Kotchap in particular. Livramento has quality and now that he’s done his ACL and that his long-term fitness is under question mark, he has all the prerequisites needed to play for Liverpool (intermittently).

Waiting for the JWP for 40-50M rumour to start…

Other than the two mentioned, Alcaraz maybe if we wanted a 6th forward option.

He needs to calm down, currently a walking red card with his tendency to pick fights and go in with rash challenges

Would prefer to see Doak given more time with the senior squad personally.

Definitely JWP for me. Ticks multiple boxes…

Lavia would a great pickup at the right price, 19, home grown next season and got all the raw ingredients of a fantastic midfielder.

Lavia as a third midfielder would have a lot of potential, assuming this summer we buy two others who are ready to go.

Bella Kotchap might be a decent central defender, but I’m hoping for better quality, someone who could grow to be a fixture in the side. I could be wrong, but I’m not sure BK is at that level, but as a rotation option, why not?

Lavia and Bella-Kotchap the ones I’d take. Ward-Prowse is a liability unless he’s stood over a free kick - and he’s 28 having never played like one of the league’s top midfielders. Actually sneakily bad on the ball. He’s just several levels below what we need.

Do a robbo and try walker peters from Southampton. Cant be to dear and young enough to make a difference, while were there get JWP as a 4th choice midfielder for us who would be happy on the bench. Go get the 2 or 3 other big signings then

Elon Musk and @Klopptimist ?
