Who would you buy?

Walker Peters is absolutely shite. I’d laugh if Everton signed him.

Walker-Peters would have been a backup if Livramento was fit.

He had the ACL injury right? Worth a punt if hes cheap and recovering as expected.

Might well be worth taking a punt on Livramento and sending him on loan for a season. i.e if he comes reasonably priced now that Southampton is relegated.

If we’re resorting to picking the bones from Southampton, we’re truly fucked

Well we spunked 35m away on Chamberlain who was a complete waste of space.

So we need to spunk away 50m this time on another midfielder in Mount who will do very little for us and replace Chamberlain on the bench!

Never mind Mount for 50m + Mac Allister for 70m is the same price as Bellingham for 120m.

Why get one superstar midfielder when you can buy 2 mediocre pieces for the same amount of money?

When was the last time we bought a midfielder? Oh yeah we loaned Arthur who promptly got hurt and did nothing the rest of the season! Seriously our transfers have been a joke lately.

Hopefully the new Director of Football will bring LFC’s transfers back to the glory days when we bought studs like Mane, Salah, Van Dijk, Alisson, etc. in back to back to back windows.

Mistakes have been made in the past but you’re chatting shite if you think we won’t sign at least two midfielders this window.

Oxlade wasn’t a waste of space, he was a big part of our team till he got injured.

Picking the right players from relegated sides served us well a few years back: Robertson, Wijnaldum and Shaqiri were signed in succession and all played a massive part in bringing back success on the pitch. Maybe we can repeat the trick this season depending on who else gets relegated and what Klopp needs. Personally, I think Lavia seems to fit the bill and has the tools required to become Fabinho’s long-term replacement here, he’d be the one that I’d watch.

He was a joke. His last useful season was 5 years ago and it was only ONE useful season out of FIVE!

Milner was a much more useful player for Liverpool than overrated Chamberlain.

At least you could count on Millie to put in a hard shift and do honest work.

If Chamberlain got out of bed the wrong way in the morning he’d come down with an injury.

Seriously we should have cashed him out 2-3 years ago when he actually had some value left and bought an actually useful replacement.

That’s really fucking harsh. Ox had established himself in the team and was putting in great performances before that Roma injury destroyed him.

Also the idea that Mount and Mac Allister are ‘average’.

Is John Henry’ s financial situation that bad that we are shopping at Wallmarkt now in stead of Bloomingdale…:flushed::see_no_evil::joy:

Mane worked out pretty well didn’t he?

It doesn’t matter so much who you played for, it’s the quality of the player.

Is West Ham some powerhouse club? No, they’re currently 15th in the league and they are lucky not to be relegated.

Would I love to have Declan Rice join LFC? Darn right I would.

The problem is our owners are too CHEAP to ever make that happen.

Like we were fucked when we picked Robbo or Gini from relegated clubs?

Livaramento was playing to a very high level before he got injured.

We aren’t going to sign Mount.

Just let them be. Some of us here just need the daily dose of the ‘Owners Suck’ to make them feel better.

Said with a degree of certainty.
And I am not doubting you.

Do you have ideas as to who we sign?

McAllister?
Lavia?
Anyone else?

Difference is, there is no-one at Southampton who looks remotely good enough to improve the areas we need strengthening.

I joked about it the other day but JWP would be an improvement on all our midfielders (considering all factors)…

Not sure about that, he’s average at everything bar free kicks.
