Who would you buy?

I am not as cultured as that, but it made me think of the classic George Dawes skit

We’ll be in trouble for sidetracking, but it’s an honour to be insulted in such a creative way MH :+1:t4::wink:

He was my fave part of shooting stars

The other player we should sign is Florentino Luis from Benfica he is a proper No6 he made a large contribution in them reaching the CL semis as well as buying Lavia from Southampton

Luis is a good player, but the fee would be exorbitant.

I’d rather pay 50M for him than Lavia who will need a years adaptation to the Liverpool way

Leipzig have just upped the offer for Lukeba to €40M they will sell him in a couple of years to RM for €100M

Laporte?

Dewsbury-Hall is looking pretty good…against Coventry. Just scored his second

Sign him up quickly we need bodies.

Thing is, he’s most definitely an 8 and not a 6

Laporte would be an excellent addition, but there’s no way Man City will deal with us.

I’m now hearing that Tyler Adams has a 20m pounds release clause. With FSG pinching pennies why isn’t Liverpool going after a lad like this? He’s only 24 years old, prem proven, and strong defensively.

They sold to Arsenal, Chelsea, why not us?

We are a threat to them, so that’s why I don’t think they would do business with us, especially to help us strengthen an area where we are weak. If they sold Laporte to us at a fair price, bring it on! But I don’t see it, because we are a threat to them.

When they sold a couple of fringe players to Arsenal - Zinchenko was way down the pecking order, and Jesus was being upgraded on by the signing of Haaland. Even a back up role for Jesus was looking precarious, since they signed Alvarez too. So they let fringe players go to an Arsenal side who were no threat to them.

The strides Arsenal have made since that time make me think that they wouldn’t do business with Arsenal now, either.

We’re a threat to nobody with the lack of signings lately! The only teams that might fear us are playing in the Europa League.

I’d rather we didn’t deal with them. Why help them balance their crooked books?

For this reason alone, no ta.

Back injury and separate ‘back trouble’? This guy sounds like he could teach naby a thing or two…

Maybe he was bought the Big Book Of Excuses by Philippe Coutinho for his birthday.
