Think we will get a CB either in January or next summer even though one is needed now.
Thiago is going to be used sparingly this season so hopefully he won’t be injured regularly. He will also be replaced next summer.
Get our team building right and hopefully next summer we can dream.

Why do the owner’s continue to hamstring Klopp though? Have they learned nothing from missing out on CL football and that additional money? You’re not going to get back into the top 4 by making him manage with one hand behind his back due to not having the players available to play his tactics.
You can’t tell me that having a squad of 21/25 instead of 25/25 is an advantage. We desperately need reinforcements at CB and we don’t even have a starting quality senior DM to play the #6 role.
I hope we do get that DM in like you said but the chances of that happening doesn’t look good right now.

If we were Man City we could fix all our issues in one window but thankfully we are not Man City.
I will ask you as i have asked others whats the 6 role what are you expecting them to do. People confuse holding to defensive.

This is misleading though. We dominate possession most matches in the opposing team’s half. Our center backs are in the opposing half as well. You can’t tell me he wasn’t a defensive midfielder…of course he was. He certainly wasn’t in our near the opposition 18.
This is the misconception watch old matches and see how much he was in the opposition half. He never just sat in front of the back 4 like you would consider a DM to do. All of the fans craving for a proper DM don’t take into account we don’t set up that way. We don’t need a Makelele under Jose at Chelsea.

Yep, defo something to be said for having a mobile player who better on the ball than Fab in those positions. But at his best Fab was able to read the game and do the dirty work to stop opposition attacks building, we need that quality for sure.

If that’s not obvious to Henry by now it never will. The enforcement efforts of punishment due to
FFP violations are beyond toothless. And pulling up clubs so late after their violations mean that they’ve already enjoyed the results of their ill gotten gains

There’s always something to buy at DM
Maybe Kone might come into view, as he heals from his injury from the u21’s?
Or maybe Gravenberch, after Bayern spend big on the son of Bruce Forsyth?
Maybe Tyler Adams?
