You’d have been able to make a Football Manager wonder team out of that lot a few years ago.

Proven goalscorer, knows the club, etc.

I wonder if Como will pick him up. They’ve got Moreno and Reina, so they’re certainly not averse to taking Spanish ex-Liverpool players.

Jonathan David available on a free. I’ll expect he finds some takers.

Didn’t know this - I think he even made his England debut last year? He’ll probably be in demand now.

He did, and he didn’t look too shabby. Then again, England didn’t go up against any decent opposition during that time.

Didn’t United let go of him ? Think it’s very likely he’s running his contract down to get a sizable signing bonus plus salary at a premier league club.

They did. He does look a bit undersized for a PL midfielder though.

Just a thought gents but I think that lad at the top of the list could do a job at RB. Free transfer an’ all so I’m sure we could offer him more than whatever he’s currently earning plus the chance to captain the side in the future.

Cunha being linked to Man Utd, likely to finish below Wolves so not much of an upgrade for him. Haven’t seen any links with us and not many talking about him in here. Out of the ‘available’ prem proven strikers he’s the one I’d go for. Ideal for the central playmaker role, able to play in those around him but also with a great strike. Looks like a fighter as well.

Roony Bardghji was tipped to be the next big thing until his serious knee injury. Still 19 and available on a free. Will be interesting to see what happens with him.

I don’t think we’ll actually sign anyone on that list (despite shoddy tabloid links to Aina as a TAA replacement), but there are some interesting names and bargains for clubs out there i.e. Angel Gomes, Jonathan David, Jonathan Tah, Tyrick Mitchell.

There were some very loose links with him earlier in the season. I think there are question marks around his attitude though that would make me surprised if we were to go for him.

Also Guimares and Wharton…so that’s 200m of midfield reinforcements for a skint club, before they even get to strikers

Links I saw yesterday were to Cunha and Delap, so that’s about £100m on strikers. on top of your £200m on midfielders…

Yeah, Cunha had an altercation with security vs Ipswich and then assaulted Kerkez not so long ago.

Slot did say Cunha was capable of playing for the top 5 teams in England, so he’s probably on a shortlist, but not first choice (hope it’s Julian Alvarez).

He also received a 4 match ban for another incident this season, didn’t he? I think we’ll pass.

Think that’s the Kerkez incident, who is very likely to be our new left-back signing.

No, I’m sure. This £300m spending spree will definitely work. It will be different this time.

Would athletico sell Alvarez after 1 season in which he’s been very good?
