I’ve watched a good bit of this, as the weather here has been insanely hot, so naught to do outside at 3:00pm.

England are a cut above Italy, and I would be surprised at an upset here. Spain, though, are a cut above all, and unless they completely bungle things, should come out on top. Not sure England’s defense can withstand the pressure Spain would put on them. England’s defending has looked the weak link.

Looked at the FIFA Rankings, and they had USA at #1. I would place a large wager on Spain over USA any time they play in the near future.

I agree, but England had a much more draining quarter final and a day less to recover. They are a better team than Italy, but it depends on how those factors affect them.

England is also much deeper than the Italian squad. Could rotate in some of the younger ladies to start. It’s also been 5 days since they last played, everyone should be fully recovered by now, surely.

Really dislike the second half approach to time wasting. Like last 10-15 minutes.
