Pleased with the result. Spain had a lot more flair and invention. Germany set up to block and counter.
Went to our usual footy pub. The crowd was much more female, understandably, and younger than for normal PL/CL matches.
The Spain goal was met with a squawk of disappointment.

The squawk is understandable, but it was a banger of a goal. Thought Germany had nicked it on the late free kick…JUST wide.

james has done nothing since the holland match. kept losing the ball, making wrong decisions. should have never started

for their goal, could have easily put the ball our for a throw then reset. gave them easy possession on the wing and there you go
