This is a disappointing match.
Pakistan must be an incredibly frustrating team to support. To combust from 155/2 in 30 overs to 190 all out.
I would obviously want an Indian win but this is so anti climatic.

The way things are progressing, I fear that the last 3-4 rounds of matches would become pointless.

Absolutely. Youād expect them to put up more of a fight considering itās basically their world cup final.
Sorry to see Barbar out of form. Heās a lovely player to watch when heās on his game. A couple of nice shots, but never really got going.
Babar got back into form today. His 50 was a sign of things to come. That was a great ball to get rid of him and that started the slide.
A lot of the games feel pointless already to be honest.
I think youāll see pitches being a lot better for bowling as the tournament goes on.
I donāt see the last 3-4 rounds being meaningless per se. Thereās no guarantee that teams can make the semis even if they win 7 out of 9 matches.
I donāt know. His stand with Rizwan was slow and stuttering. They never really dominated the Indian bowlers as they needed to.
Not an easy task, of course, but necessary to give the team any chance of success.
The main problem is teams turning up here half baked. There are only 4* teams Iād say whoāve got the squad balance correct.

The rest of the teams are seriously deficient in both batting and bowling. Iād argue that England might come into this but the players they do have are good enough to get them through despite Archer missing out.
They were just about to push the pedal. Thats what they always do , sight the ball , nudge till 50 and then accelerateā¦ And there were a lot of pleasing shots there as well.
The wicket of Babar came against the run of play and it deflated Pakistan totally.
For a new batsmen to come in and get settled , it wouldnāt be easy. Especially as the Indians kept it tight.
England bowling is a weakness. Australia still have the players if they get their heads right.
Australiaās lacking spinners , one specialist spinner in Zampa isnāt going to help. Maxwell does a job but thatās not good enough.
Also their batting is suspect. Green is not useful bowling in these surfaces too.
Pakistan is lacking spinners as well. They have some good pacers who can run through opposition on their day.
Thatās Pakistanās problem. They rely on opposition to have a stinker for them to have a chance. That should not be the case for a semifinal contender.

At the semifinal stages, it is basically anybodyās game.
Iād still say Rohit got the team selection wrong in this match by selecting Thakur in place of Ashwin. But Pakistan self exploding saved him the blushes.

The issue with this WC so far is thereās only been one close game. Today will be another I suspect.
I canāt read much these days, there isnāt any decent movies or series, itās the fucking NT break, and I need some distractions from the horrible things going around the world.
