They should consult with Man City on how to put a respectable veneer on it for the cameras, in the face of public disinterest ![]()
Croatiaâs final (at least for a while) shirts for the WC with Nike after 26 years of collaboration, before we switch to Adidas, starting from next autumnâs Nations League.

Fuck FIFA and this World Cup in the US.
Which means all African teams bar marocco, good luck to infantino if the targeted countries decide not to go to this rotten WC.
Doesnât help that Morocco was the competition, and most of Africa voted for that option.
When Turkey and Italy eventually laboriously qualify they hardly enter Groups of death.
Turkey will even top the group of USA Paraguay and the mighty Aussies.
Italy likewise get a relatively soft group despite hardly a vintage Italian team. Canada Qatar and Switzerland. This Swiss should dust them so 2nd place it is.
Letâs see how these predictions ageâŚ.could look like a fool in as little as an hour.
Maybe now the Azzurri can calm down and play football
They have to win another game first.
I know that.
Just making some very futuristic predictions.
Who are they likely to get?
Isak might end up going to the World Cup.
Sweden Poland final could be juicy.
Japan and the Dutch awaitâŚ..
IrelandâŚâŚ.what a start.
Second half performance was poor, then to lose on penalties ![]()
Finals
Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Italy
Sweden vs Poland
Kosovo vs Turkey
Czech vs Denmark
Shame to see all the other home nations go out. At least Scotland are heading there and Bradley wonât be as upset now he isnât missing out.
B&H surprised me a little bit, I thought Wales would have a bit too much for them, also being at home. Kosovo are no surprise anymore, can be very awkward to play against.
My picks
Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Denmark
The Mass transport authority just announced that return tickets between Boston city center and where the games are being held (a necessary trip because in America none of the stadiums are located where anyone actually is or will want to stay when coming as visiting fans) will be subject to a 4 fold increase in cost for the world cup. Returns will now be $75 at the cheapest.
Interesting.
In Aus, a ticket to majority of top league games or international sports include local bus/train/tram usage to get to and from the stadium. I remember when Sydney had the Olympic Games we had football tickets for several games in Brisbane, and that included free train from Gold Coast up to Brisbane and if we wanted free bus from Roma St to the Gabba. London did similar in 2012. If I recall correctly, I think an England ticket for games at Wembley do something similar (may not be done for friendlies)
I think that sort of approach is fairly typical for host citities/coutnries.
The MBTA have argued they needed to put a lot of money into infrastructure updates to support the expected traffic and this is their plan to claw that back, and its just an example of how bad so much of American infrastructure has become. But also maybe a mark of how broken the host selection process has become that this was not already factored in up front i.e. if you select Foxborough as a host city this infrastructure will need to be added at this cost
Iâll be attending the WC match where the Dutch take on the winner. Think Iâd rather Poland, as it would mean Isak has no injury issues to worry about, and could get a proper preseason in.
