The German press and quite a few managers blaming Wirtz for yesterdays loss to Slovakia but the truth is that all the players were to blame because Wirtz got the highest mark he was everywhere but this is not tennis it is a team game. There was no blame to Woltemade who failed to score nor the manager who set them up to fail.

Yes, heās getting it from all sides now. Itās escalated since he started playing for Liverpool. There are a lot of rival fans who are practicing hate-watching. Germany played poorly yesterday, and now theyāve decided to blame him becauseā¦ a player who cost so much money should be able to turn things around, etc. Soā¦ this will be a huge change for him. Up until now, heās always been the nice, talented young man everyone liked. Iām afraid heāll have to learn to deal with it now. Thatās probably not going to change.

It is a bit of an overreaction as I am certain they will beat the other teams left in the group and Slovakia had better enjoy this win as I donāt give a lot of money for their hide in the Germany leg.

Two weeks without a Liverpool game is killing me! We only just started, and just as the plot thickens - top of the league, and Isak joins the group after an almighty transfer tussle - the action is paused. Pah!
So I just looked to see when England are playing, and who they are playing.
Tomorrow, Saturday. Andorra.
Do me a favor! Top Premier League action is paused for that? What a joke. I donāt know what their ranking is, but they should not be on the same pitch as England. And as for England, I fully expect them to underwhelm and look less than the sum of their parts, again, struggling to victory.
