I didn’t know Italy played today.
Who?
All I know is France play tomorrow
.
I know it was only international football but he looked much more like his old self.
Even if the keeper should have saved his goal
Hope Isak has a great WC, needs the form and confidence boost.
I’m just crossing my fingers that he stays healthy. We will need him this coming season.
Looking for the same, stay healthy, and get fully fit for the important competitions starting August.
Staying healthy, playing his natural role, teammates passing to him, everyone pressing in unison… Revolutionary concepts, I know!
Why didn’t you apply for manager? You missed a beat there.
Just watched him in the world cup. He looked god awful to be honest. Hopefully it’s just temporary after his injury.

Saw the good and the bad from him today. Duffed some easy control that led to a Netherlands goal but then threaded a fantastic pass through to Elanga for Sweden’s goal.
Can’t help but think injuries and last summers price tag will wear down on him. He’s expected to be a world beater because of it.
Benefit of the doubt given to him from me until the end of an Iraola season but i’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly worried it just isn’t going to work out.
Huh?
He was really excellent today I thought? Ok, he loses a ball that leads to a Dutch goal, but otherwise, he hardly didn’t put a foot wrong. Some exquisite vision and passes. But unfortunately for them, his team-mates weren’t at the same level.
Yeah got an assist put his overall play was terrible in my opinion.
He is a class act when on form, he’s proved that at Newcastle, I just hope we can find a way to play to his strengths.
You thought he was excellent?? Ok, we must be watching different matches then.
Yeah, it seems so… ![]()
Highest rated Swedish player in the match on fotmob - for whatever that is worth.
I thought he was good as well. Considering he seems to be far from anything close to match fit, I was impressed with how sharp he looked. Just about the only bad thing I saw from him was losing the ball ahead of Holland’s fourth goal. And that was deep inside the Dutch half, so it’s not exactly his fault they scored.
The fact he has battered back from his injury anything decent at a World Cup about 7 months after is a positive.
I didn’t see the game but from this highlight reel he looked to have a good game, especially if your team gets beat so badly.
