That was my feeling…I know it was serious, hopefully not on the longer scale but as long as he gets able to get fit and then ready.

If there’s anything positive we can take from his and Leoni’s respective injuries, it’s that they will not be made scapegoats for everything that’s going on this season and that both will get time to get properly settled (in Leoni’s case, learn the language as well). What a shit ending to his year. I can’t begin to fathom what kind of effect this will have on Liverpool’s season - for all of his issues, he was an able body that Slot could call upon. I hope that he will be ready for the pre-season.

yeah hes probably lost the oppurtunity to salvage anything decent from this season personally.
if its ten weeks though he should be back an its pretty good timing to be well and truely ready for next season…
have sweden qualified for the WC…
imagine Isak going into next season with no WC, an extended pre season and a year at the club under his belt…could be juicy

I remember when Cisse appeared in that second leg in Turin, what a sight that was. Incredible recovery.
Hopefully Isak can still catch a part of this season, but more importantly, it will be vital that he can have a full pre-season next summer.
What this gives though is the chance to Ekitike to establish himself as first choice even more, before Isak gets to 100% fitness and form, more than a year of them being together at the club could pass…

As usual nothing from the Club re injuries. They know exactly the extent of the injury right this minute. Possibly not an ACL at least (now that the rumours and “according to” comments abound freely).
Whatever it is he ain’t playing for ages so tell everyone.
And of course the injury occurs 5 minutes after Mo leaves.

Slot will tell us at the press-conference anyway and sometimes there is a short statement over a player injured or, more often, back in training.

VAR can get involved in any potential red card offense. The issue on this challenge is the stupid prevailing attitude in the game on what defenders are allowed to do when an opponent is shooting.
