Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

They met in the afternoon.

What better way to announce he was staying than before the game against the team trying to sign him but…didnt happen

Tbh i think they will be discussing FSG investing in saudo pro league etc and would sell us isak to encourage investment

Isak isn’t going to agree to stay before the window closes, unless it is just before it. He will hold out as long as possible. The question is whether Newcastle will harden their position, or whether we walk away first.

Did they turn up with an empty suitcase and machete for these talks?

Its not just reintergrating him to the squad. Its also repairing the link with the fans, you can imagine him seeing the shirts on sale with the matches included.

He has to be included on the A list taking up a non homegrown spot if we register him for UEFA competition as he hasn’t been with us for 2 years.

I get why they would have tried to convince Isak to stay because no point not trying but it’s hardly a surprise considering how much this has escalated but it would be more of a surprise if he agreed.

Where is the outrage about Newcastle unsettling and disrespecting Wolves? I get this has been a running joke, but WTF

Yeah should just pay up what they want… what’s this nonsense about negotiations also they should wait until the Sun balloons to dwarf the solar system so that Wolves can sign a replacement.

Thou shalt not disrespect the family club that is Newcastle Limie.

As punishment , please watch the replays of Nunez and Rio scoring the winning goals.

Also. I think it was @bekloppt who was mentioning that geordies and scousers have a lot in common. That might be true.

But as far as comparsions between Newcastle United and Liverpool are concerned, not anymore.

They did have a lot in common but after the blood money takeover. We aren’t the same anymore.

Those guys sold their soul.

It’s the Cartel remember…

I assume going on the pitch to approach the manager with your lackeys is “family friendly” and nothing cartel like.

As family friendly as inviting Isak to the Saudi embassy meeting room for further talks.

Newcastle had the likes of Kenny , Kevin Keegan and Rafa managing them.

That was when I felt an affinity towards them. And I pitied their plight in the Ashley days.

But the entitlement of the fans after the oil takeover. Fuck them.
