Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

Yeah should just pay up what they want… what’s this nonsense about negotiations also they should wait until the Sun balloons to dwarf the solar system so that Wolves can sign a replacement.

Thou shalt not disrespect the family club that is Newcastle Limie.

Also. I think it was @bekloppt who was mentioning that geordies and scousers have a lot in common. That might be true.

But as far as comparsions between Newcastle United and Liverpool are concerned, not anymore.

They did have a lot in common but after the blood money takeover. We aren’t the same anymore.

Those guys sold their soul.

It’s the Cartel remember…

I assume going on the pitch to approach the manager with your lackeys is “family friendly” and nothing cartel like.

As family friendly as inviting Isak to the Saudi embassy meeting room for further talks.

Newcastle had the likes of Kenny , Kevin Keegan and Rafa managing them.

That was when I felt an affinity towards them. And I pitied their plight in the Ashley days.

But the entitlement of the fans after the oil takeover. Fuck them.

Executing journalists in a foreign country… it’s all part of the family friendly image they want to promote.

Not the first crime that the heads of the gulf countries have committed in foreign soil. All conveniently ignored by other countries.if not abetted.

Aktuwaly [he was killed at the consulate, which technically counts as Saudi sovereign territory]

It was a smart move for Isak to move out of his house though and go on the lamb so they dont know where to find him.

I’ve been on record stating that I’ll quit following football if Liverpool were taken over by a despotic regime.

So effectively Craig Hope was pushing the club line again. I’d rather never see another tweet from him again.

It’s funny - my sense of whether this will happen or not has ranged from 80% chance he’s coming to 51% chance based on the reports.

But nothing gave me more confidence that this will happen than the fact that their ownership met with him, allegedly offered him a new contract, and he told them to fuck off.

That’s all I needed to know. Meeting with him prior to the window closing is an act of desperation - a last gasp attempt to reintegrate him. If they were 100% not going to sell, they wouldn’t even bother engaging with him in that manner until after the window is closed. They’d just tell him that they’re not selling, and dare him to sit at home and forfeit paycheck after paycheck. That they haven’t tells me that they know they’ll have to sell.

The fact that Liverpool hasn’t been linked with anyone else only furthers the likelihood of this happening. If they were certain that Newcastle weren’t going to sell, or they felt that Isak was going to concede defeat and return to playing for them, they would have moved on already.

This is getting done.
