No it isn’t.
It is when you are used to Football manager transfers.
Do you sense a rage quit coming on?
Have we tried setting up an alt profile as Newcastle boss and selling Isak to us for tuppence and a curly-wurly?
Those are amature numbers
Ive not a console for about 20 years!

Well, this does not sound optimistic, though I did chuckle at the wording - you could replace “Newcastle, Wolves” with “Liverpool, Newcastle”.
It’s funny. Wolves are looking for a second striker, not a replacement. Sounds familiar.
I do wonder though why so many teams have left themselves without a second striker so late in the window. Our situation kind of makes sense. Wolves and Newcastle less so.
Newcastle makes sense too when you consider how many strikers have told them no!
Wolves have every right to be outraged as his head was turned and then they dare to offer a derisory bid! Haha
We can laugh at the hypocrisy of Newcastle but we do need some of these dominoes to start to fall or we risk being the ones left short. Not to mention three clubs with disgruntled strikers.
I agree and I’ve also said it previously - LFC have already shot themselves in the foot by ‘waiting’ on NFC to accept an offer. Isak cannot be the only forward we’ve been scouting, move on dammit!!!
At this point I think we’ve decided we don’t want to go for anyone else if we can’t get Isak in this window and instead we will just go back in again in January.
If there is no resolution to the Isak impasse at Newcastle, then they might as well sell now.
Keeping him against his will reduces his transfer value and still leaves them short a striker. The indications are he won’t play again for them no matter what.
They can hardball all they want, but their best scenario is sell him now and keep harmony at the club. Liverpool can and will wait. My view is that he is already our player, its just a matter of when he signs.
What is the Isak link? Are they holding off selling to Bayern in case Newcastle come in with a desperate better offer? You would have thought any interest if it existed would have been well flagged already
It’s because Chelsea are going to try and snatch Isak from us at the last minute (reverse caicedo) as they’re down to only 49 forwards after selling Nkunku.
That’s pretty much it. It is possible that Newcastle has done some preliminary exploration with Chelsea already, and Chelsea and Jackson prefer a sale to NUFC over a loan to Bayern.
