Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

Yeah if they can sell him to Newcastle instead of loan him they are going prefer that.

At least Palace seem active for defenders.

It’s too late for Isak now and we’re too stubborn to move on - we’ve humpty dumptied on the wall for the last 6 weeks waiting for Newcastle to sign a forward, we’ll likely strike a deal for Guehi at the nth hour and that’ll be that.

Yeah that’s what I expect we will do, I do feel movements after tonight whatever the result makes sense also being in Europe proper may help with the transfers of players in.

I’m really alright with Guehi coming in.

The news is that Bajcetic is going to be integrated into the side as a backup to Grav.

Keep the money and then look at Jan window.

Isak and Guehi, both this window.

Hughes has ice in his veins. The man is cool as a cucumber. He’s knows what he wants. He know the dominoes that need to fall. It’s all in hand.

I think Newcastle are lying anyhow. If Liverpool followed in a 150m bid would they stick to their “oh we need 3 strikers” policy.

Why is it too late for Izak? are you in possession of more information not currently in the public domain.

If I believed everything in this thread, I’d be having 20 or 30 extreme mood swings per hour.

And now you understand the mental state of the average football fan during a transfer window. It’s not very healthy and clicking refresh on Romano’s twitter feed every 3 minutes won’t actually change anything but that’s what people spend their time doing anyway.

Liverpool called that bluff. They probably realised that Newcastle were dicking around after inviting the bid.

Yeah it’s why I really only use here and look at the BBC gossip pages a few days a week.

Not worth following these guys really, it happens or it doesn’t and you only really need to see those like Joyce and the like.

Im sure the price up to the point was 130m.

And am pretty sure that the price quoted to Isak was that he could move if bid in excess of 100m was quoted.

That was part of where isak says , promises were broken.

As I said, they’ve constantly lied throughout, and I have no doubt they suggested to Liverpool to put in a starting offer. Liverpool would have been happy to go higher if discussions took place in good faith but they went to their press mouthpieces suggesting legal action and how appalled and upset they were that Liverpool offered them 110m as a starting offer for someone who wants to leave.

I thought Newcastle were braced for a huge offer? 2 days after the game and…zilch.

Who actually said that ?

I think it was Indykalia so probably not worth considering.

I honestly can’t see us going into the rest of the season with the forward options we have.

What’s rich is them saying through their mouthpieces how Liverpool’s initial offer of 110m was insulting.

I mean wtf.
