Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

That’s what they thought, too, just like with Wirtz back then. Bayern thought they’d just get him next year and didn’t want to bid any higher. At Newcastle, he’ll surely develop and become a regular. Of course, he’ll need some time to adjust; he’s still very young.

The delusion of newcastle having all the power now on the terms of how.much we pay is comical, but just to show what sort of fans they have …

Funny seeing Bayern being made to pay for that arrogance again. Looks like they might need to stop taking their dominance of the German transfer market for granted.

In Geordie? It’s Walter Marder, pet.

So if signing Woltemade will take their summer net spend to over 200m euro, then surely they have to sell us Isak for PSR reasons

It was only a matter of time before he was racially abused by his ex fans.

Was going say, throw in a bit of casual racism just in case the message that they hate him isn’t clear enough.

I would hope it’s called out but I have my doubts.

If Woltemade goes through I think Isak is as good as done. This is very good news.

As for Woltemade, I think he is a decent player. Obviously a giant, but he can also play a bit. Not nearly as good as Ekitike, but better than some of the others Newcastle have been linked to. They have overpaid but I think the circumstances have dictated a lot of that.

This was the closest to pulling him, but totally ignores the actual racist intent at the same time

Poor craic. There’s many insults we can throw at that snakey bastard for many reasons. We can do so much better than mocking his physical appearance.

If I heard it on here I would jump on it if I’m honest.

I thought they needed to get someone to replace Callum Wilson.

So they’ve rocked the boat with Strand-Larsson and then left him in the wind after he’d made clear he wanted Wolves to let him go.

Sure we’ll hear plenty about this from the likes of Shearer et al given their lofty position on the moral high ground.
