Poundland Grimace has changed his tune.

I’d look forward to him choking on his humble pie, but if there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s eating.

Indy has been hilarious this window. Even if you don’t think he’s reliable, he sure is an entertaining follow.

It would be hilarious if Isak was first announced as part of our XI against Arsenal on Sunday. :joy:

Well if this is gonna happn you would think we would hear today.
Medicals take 2 days plus all the media etc.
Deadline is 7pm Monday.

How do transfers happen on deadline day then ?

wouldn’t be surprised if we got Isak and Guehi’s medicals done by a third party already.

How can a fanbase change so quickly?

cribbing about mutliclub ownership - You’re owners own an entire League
cribbing about richer clubs - your lot are the richest club around.

about the Isak move driven by his agent ? Oh. If Isak believes that a move to Liverpool is in his best interest as he would have a realistic chance to win the league in his career with Liverpool , how does that mean it’s driven by the agent ?

These twats in the newcastle group have their head so far up their arse that they stopped being rational. And really quickly too. proper delusional cunts. That’s what the smell of oil does i guess.

We didn’t have a rivalry with City prior to the Oil money. I assume it was a rather healthy respect for the other club as both of us hated United. That fanbase want to invent a rivalry with us as we are their closest rival for EPL trophies in the last 7-8 years. That and the fact that a rivalry with us makes them feel relevant.

We never had a rivalry with Newcastle and this behaviour by newcastle fans is rather similar. Wanting to invent a rivalry even if it’s not reciprocated by the other side.

We really needed this signing, we’ve only got one fit CB and we’ve managed to get all the contacts and paperwork sorted but fuck it, we’ve run out of time for the socials! Guess we’ll have to wait for the next window eh?

We Could try bidding first!

60 hours is a load of time.

Whats the fascination with knowing about bids. Clubs talk in the back ground plenty of deals have happened in recent years and the first you hear in the media is a fee is agreed.

The first reports are now coming in. However, our reliable sources (Ornstein) are only saying that the deal is becoming increasingly likely.

I think this is the misconception Newcastle fans can’t get their heads around. They aren’t the richest club at all.

The people that own them have an ungodly amount of wealth but the club itself is about 15th richest in terms of revenue generated and that includes some dodgy deals like that Saudi shirt sponsor.

They just want to bypass the hard work to build up the club, revenue and quality of the squad using money that has nothing to do with the club.

I also cannot understand how they aren’t hoovering up any and all good young kids up in the North East. Plenty of talent come from that region and they’re competing with Sunderland and Boro and that’s about it. Should have a academy producing talent year after year.

ESPN are saying it’s done?

They have signed some good young players the last few years, avoiding all this faux anger over Isak could have helped them continue to strengthen their financial and footballing position. It still might work out that way but all this drama wasnt needed.
