Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

Probably true, but club sources are apparently still holding back and won’t announce anything until after the Newcastle game. They probably don’t want to cause any unrest beforehand, and that was pretty much to be expected.

Edit

Nevertheless, there are also some not so optimistic sources. I think internally they’re really trying not to let anything leak out.

Newcastle wanting to keep the focus on the game would make sense if this has been done.

Luckily Jacob’s knows as much as my dog and he’s been dead for 30 years.

They have to sell him now. They would run the risk of not being compliant with PSR and all he will do is sit half a season out.

It sounds like they already have information from the clubs, but have agreed not to reveal anything. The reports that the deal is done may have been spread by Isak Camp.

Well we aren’t going leak anything…We are like a sturdy vessel that sails for over 50 years compared to Newcastle or Man Utd that are effectively the titanic or some boat shot through with holes in the war.

Wonder which of Wissa or Strand-Larsson will be hung out to dry by this disrespectful Newcastle behaviour. Not to mention the two clubs not fielding their main striker this weekend.

Quite plus the ties don’t really effect them.

Strand-Larsson is just like the player they just signed. Tall lanky dude

Another more negativ source, This is basically the opposite of Ornstein’s statement.

( I am posting this now only for the sake of completeness)

I prefer the positive sources, the negative ones just depress me.

this is where im at and time is on my side to confirm that.
Isak will be here in Jan

im mean llook at Fjortofts tweet - its just one hypocritical sentence.
Isak is done but with newcastle playing away later nothing will be done today - isak to lfc soon …so how is it done?

That means the deals are very much on. The club has been known to feed mis-information to journalists before.

Everything can be agreed in principle but not signed off thats how it can be done but not complete.

Well, I’m also looking at the Newcastle sources and they still expect a deal if the price is right.

Jan Ange has never been right on a transfer rumour I believe.

Joyce and Ormstein are the two I’d listen to and if Ormstein says it’s likely then it probably is.

That’s a really oddly worded tweet.

The only deal Liverpool may complete before Monday is Kostas Tsimikas to Roma; significant chance there won’t be any arrivals.

Then in a reply states there is every chance something happens on Monday. It’s like they are deliberately using Sunday night as an artificial deadline to write something people will click on because they think he’s saying something else. Why is he talking about before Monday? The deadline is during Monday, not before it. All for the clicks.

Fjortoft is a blagger, Dom King knows nothing.

Most likely Isak has already had his medical, Newcastle would have given permission for that but no photos of him in Liverpool kit etc. No media related stuff.

The international break comes at a good time. Unless Ekitike suffers an injury I can’t see Isak coming straight into the team after the break. He’ll be eased in over several weeks.

Sandcastle might fuck about and announce something negative tomorrow as a snide payback… thinking it might just throw us off our game with the Arse
