Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

Did you actually read the rest of my post? You know, the bit where I said the above?

No, neither Doak nor Rio would be starters, but they could take some minutes and play cup games. I was merely pointing out that at this moment in time we’re not light in the forward department.

However, when at least a couple of the trio leave, then we will need to go into the market… but it doesn’t have to be for Isak.

So we don’t need him now. We don’t need him ever.

We might need a striker, but there’s more than one out there.

Not of the quality we need.

Is @YoullNeverWalkAlone the new acc of @redalways

Honestly,

Gakpo Isak Salah
Szoboslai Wirtz
Gravenberch Mac Allister
Kerkez Virgil Frimpong
Alisson

Would be doable with Gravenberch dropping into CB when defending. Unbelievably offensive, but doable :joy:

Ryan’s last cameo at CB didn’t end so well :worried:

I don’t remember it…?

He got a red card after about five minutes playing the position in the last game of the season.

The Telegraph reporting that their information is that Newcastle United Chairman and the man in charge of Saudi Arabia PIF’s 85 per cent majority stake in NUFC, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, has personally stepped in to take the lead on the situation.

Luke Edwards of The Telegraph says that it is very rare for the Governor of Saudi PIF to get directly involved in the day to day running of the club, usually happy to take a backseat and leave it to the senior staff at St James’ Park.

However, these exceptional circumstances seeing Yasir Al-Rumayyan step in and PIF continuing to insist the striker is not for sale.

I mean it has been an extraordinary transfer window but Lionel is a bit older than our usual targets
