What the black and white sandies are pissed off about is that they keep boasting that they are the richest club in world football or one of the richest clubs in world football and despite some major changes from the Ashley era, they are not big enough to be able to provide a suitable pathway for success to the players.

Clubs are allowed to talk to interested players. You can’t regulate that. I daresay Newcastle have done their fair share of tapping up throughout their history.

I had some … Sympathy for Newcastle. Not least because Dalglish and Keegan were their managers.
I didn’t even mind them winning the league Cup against us. Considering that they’ve won fuck all before and did come close a season or two in the 90s. And also the Rafa factor.
But their behaviour after getting blood stained oil money. Fuck them.

I still don’t get how anyone can take the moral high ground talking about Newcastle’s “blood stained oil money” when we are happy to sell our players to the Saudi Pro League and receive that “blood stained oil money” as well.
I would be very happy to walk away from the Isak deal though.

Countries across the world are happy to fund that. Am I happy ? Nope. But it is what it is. Without oil , that entire region would be a bunch of camel humping nomads.

Where is the line drawn though? What about if we accept money from a club that has sold someone to a Sand-entity? That is effectively oil stained too. Similarly what if they are involved in sponsorship etc.

The day that Liverpool gets taken over by a Arab nation(or any attempt at that from whatever country, Arab , Israeli etc etc) I’m not following football.

I’ve seen a few rumours on social media that Liverpool and Newcastle have agreed £120+15m for Isak, but it is being kept under wraps so Newcastle can get their players in first.
Personally I don’t understand this logic of clubs wanting to do their business first because they are worried about getting fleeced. As if everyone doesn’t know that Newcastle are about to get a massive wedge for Isak.

I’m not even sure it’s a case of being fleeced either, the price for players in this market is already higher than it was in past years and Isak is a good example of that - he wasn’t being touted as a £120m-£150m player a year ago.
If they can’t find two good forwards for that money, then their issues extend beyond the financial limitations that PSR has them under.
