Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

I’m gonna (Eden) hazard a guess here and say that Newcastle probably already have personal terms sorted with the player, and have just been working with RBL on what kind of bid would be accepted.

Being honest, I think Sesko will be a massive flop in the PL and I don’t think that Newcastle is the right setup for him to develop in, but I couldn’t give a shiny shite about any of that so long as it means we get Isak.

It’s Eddie Howe playing chess again.

In all honesty, how do we lose here?

He goes to the Geordies and we get Isak.

He goes to Old Toilet and they ruin another young talent and we probably get Isak.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

I’d actually give Man U credit if they passed on Sesko for that fee.

This is also big for our move for Isak.

I’m trying to figure out if he represents anyone else. Personal terms were apparently never an issue between the club and Isak.

He was probably there negotiating his agent fee for bringing us Isak, the cunt.

No, actually the guys from Kyuss own the rights to it.

Or that was his agent fee. Free ticket to a preseason friendly at Anfield

He can even succeed and another club might take him out of Newcastle’s paws. Who knows ? More it happens. The higher chance that their PIF owners fuck right off.

As it stands now , quite a lot of Newcastle fans are accusing PIF of caring more about the Saudi League and not about their precious little club fighting the underdog fight against the cartel clubs

interesting debate to be had here…

why shouldnt they care more about their own nations football league…they are, after all, owned by the state, the people, they answer to the people (in theory, i know, i know)

so its a bit arrogant for newcastle fans to act out that a nation state cares more about what happens in thier own backyard than thier toy in the EPL…

they have no obligation to do what Citeh did, they can just let the club bubble along and let the league take care of the value rising…

Always felt this had a good chance of happening.

The PIF is mainly geared for bringing investment and interest into Saudi considering that their main resource , Oil , is going to run out at some point.

It’s different from the other gulf country buying City /PSG.

Saudi is a much bigger country and hence needs to do that more as opposed to the tiny nations which make up the Emirates

And it’s sheer entitlement for Newcastle fans to think that they will simply start challenging within 4 seasons of being taken over by the Saudis.

They’ve done a fair job of getting them back from the places they were under Saudis. Also hired guys who they wouldn’t have a chance of hiring before.

Right now, if I was a young player with Sesko like potential, the conduct of Newcastle over Isak would be giving me concerns about joining them.

That’s only if he succeeds. If he flops , he’ll still get whatever wages he agreed for.

And Sesko isn’t guaranteed to succeed.
